Prayer:
The Holy Spirit Came at Pentecost in Answer to Prayer—The Spirit came upon the waiting, praying disciples with a fullness that reached every heart. The Infinite One revealed Himself in power to His church. It was as if for ages this influence had been held in restraint, and now Heaven rejoiced in being able to pour out upon the church the riches of the Spirit's grace. And under the influence of the Spirit, words of penitence and confession mingled with songs of praise for sins forgiven. Words of thanksgiving and of prophecy were heard. All heaven bent low to behold and to adore the wisdom of matchless, incomprehensible love. Lost in wonder, the apostles exclaimed, “Herein is love.” They grasped the imparted gift. And what followed? The sword of the Spirit, newly edged with power and bathed in the lightnings of heaven, cut its way through unbelief. Thousands were converted in a day.—(The Acts of the Apostles, 38.)

The Power of a Smile.
The act of smiling triggers pleasure sensors in the brain, which causes the release of endorphins (feel-good chemicals).
A smile makes you feel happier. You feel a sense of peace when you see someone smiling at you and a smile is contagious in a positive way.
SMILING:
Reduces stress
Fosters social bonds
Lowers blood pressure
Relaxes muscles
Alleviates symptoms of depression
Helps with boosting immunity/reduces inflammation
The bible reminds us in Proverbs 17:22 that, a merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.
Ellen. G White reminded " not to allow the perplexities and worries of everyday life to fret your mind and cloud your brow.
If you do, you will always have something to vex and annoy. Life is what we make it, and we shall find what we look for.
If we look for sadness and trouble, if we are in a frame of mind to magnify little difficulties,
we shall find plenty of them to engross our thoughts and our conversation. But if we look on the bright side of things,
we shall find enough to make us cheerful and happy. If we give smiles, they will be returned to us; if we speak pleasant,
cheerful words, they will be spoken to us again."
The signs of the time February 12 ,1885.
Keep smiling Oasis!
Prayer: Is the channel of communication between our souls and God. God speaks to us through His word; we respond to Him through our prayers, and He always listens to us. We cannot weary or burden Him by our frequent heart to heart communications. Pr 3.2
We have come to serious times. Events in our world call upon every follower of Christ to be totally in earnest in our relationship with God. To strengthen this relationship and satisfy our emotional and spiritual needs, we must learn the power of prayer. We must plead with the Lord, like the disciples of old, saying, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Pr 3.3
That God is willing and ready to hear and to respond to our heartfelt prayers under all circumstances is profoundly reassuring. He is a loving Father who is interested both when things are going well and when the vicissitudes of life deal us devastating, tough, and terrible blows. When we feel like crying out, “God, where are You?” It is good to know that He is just a prayer away.

A key element in understanding these last-day prophecies is Daniel 2, which contains
not only the historical outline of the prophecies but the interpretive key to unlocking
their meanings, as well.
With this historical perspective as the foundation for understanding prophecy, we are going to study this quarter the theme of how to interpret Bible prophecy, specifically some of the allusions, stories, images, and metaphors that unlock prophetic truth and final events.
